My boss’s boss played this old FedEx Cup ad at the start of a presentation he gave the other day – I reckon it’s a classic and worth posting xD. The utter sincerity of the workers and their boss’s dry, unruffled manner totally sells the gag xD.
There’s another great FedEx Cup ad along a similar vein at this link.
This dude drew 200 three panel strips in under 12 hours – crazy xD. They’re off the cuff and often hilarious; the humour reminds me of Jack Handey (the “Deep Thoughts” guy)’s schtick and – as my mate Biscotti pointed out – Mitch Hedberg‘s non-sequitur style.
Jackson routines and impersonators are a dime a dozen (Fall Out Boy’s “Beat It” cover, anyone? xD) and this one (seen here on “Britain’s Got Talent”) starts off like any other (with a fresh remix that incorporates Billy Jean, Queen and Bhangra… o_O) but the surprise development halfway through, and the reaction of the judges and the crowd, is classic! xDDD
(Here’s another version of the routine from the Birmingham NEC – you can see a version of the whole dance without all the audience cutaways…)
